VACDL's Spring Seminar 2026 will be held at the UVA Darden School of Business (Classroom 120) 100 Darden Boulevard, Charlottesville, VA 22903, on FRIDAY, May 1, 2026.
This program will be presented as a hybrid event: in person attendance will be limited to the first 60 registrants but we can accommodate an unlimited number of virtual attendees, via Zoom. Breakfast, lunch, coffee/sodas, and other refreshments will be provided to our in-person attendees throughout the program.

Board Meeting and Reception: On Thursday, April 30, 2026, the VACDL Board of Directors will meet at the Hyatt Place Charlottesville, (2100 Bond Street, Charlottesville, VA 2290) from 4-5:30 p.m. All VACDL members in good standing are welcome to attend the Board Meeting, but please inform our Executive Director, Danielle Payne, if you plan to attend so that she can ensure sufficient seating in the meeting room.
VACDL will host a casual "happy hour" style reception at Burton's Grill (The Shops at Stonefield), 2010 Bond Street Charlottesville, VA 22901 (a short walk from the Hyatt Place) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026 which will be open to all Spring Seminar registrants, speakers and special guests.
HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS: VACDL has reserved a block of rooms at the Hyatt Place Charlottesville, 2100 Bond Street, Charlottesville, VA 22901 at a price of $155 per night plus tax. Materials will be emailed (via Dropbox link) to attendees during the week of the seminar, along with the Zoom Link for virtual attendees.
This course is pending approval for 6.0 live-interactive CLE credits, including 1 ethics credit, for in person or virtual attendees.
Breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks on Friday, as well as the Thursday Happy Hour reception, are all included with the tuition fee.
All cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing only, by email to vacdlawyers@gmail.com, no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 22, 2026 to receive a refund of the tuition less a $25 administrative fee.
Registrants may pay by credit card online. UPDATE: We will accept checks as methods of payment until April 22, 2026. After that time, you must pay by credit or debit card (*unless you have specific approval from the Executive Director*). All registration fees must be paid in advance of the program.
