We are kicking off our 2026 webinar series with "Listening Between the Lines: The Skill and Sensitivity of Child Forensic Interviewing" on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.

This presentation provides an overview of forensic interviews conducted with children. It covers the qualifications and role of the forensic interviewer, the importance of creating a child-friendly environment, and the use of non-leading and non-suggestive questioning techniques. The presentation also discusses the significance of audio and video recording the interview and explores alternative hypotheses and potential pitfalls. Lastly, it outlines the ways a forensic interview expert can assist with case review, consultation, and trial preparation.

Kelly Bober (MSOL, BSW, DCFI), Executive Director of the ChildSafe Center-CAC will lead the webinar, in partnership with Godoy Medical Forensics.

Upon completed website registration and payment submission, registrants will receive a separate email link for the Zoom Webinar hosted by VACDL.

1 hour of MCLE credit is pending approval for this webinar. The course ID will be emailed to all registered attendees after the completion of the webinar.
